Central Banks all across the globe are busy controlling their currencies and financial markets through their monetary policy. Bank of International Settlements (BIS) is an international organization of central banks also know as the bank for central banks. As an organization of central banks, the BIS seeks to make monetary policy more predictable and transparent among its 58 member central banks.
BIS has released its annual report. Global markets are currently under the spell of their Central Banks and their unprecedented monetary policy settings, the report said. The global economy is still struggling to escape the shadow of the financial crisis that started in 2007-2008, capital markets are extraordinarily buoyant in part because of the ultra low monetary policy being pursued around the world by the Central Banks. This can be risky.
