Bollinger Bands are extensively used by pro traders in their trading. Bollinger Bands give an idea of the volatility in the market. The closer the bands, the lower the volatility and far apart the bands, it means high volatility. Most of the time when price action hits the upper band, it retraces and starts moving towards the lower band. When it hits the lower band, it again changes direction and starts moving towards the upper band.
